Meilinda, S.S., M.A.

Meilinda got her undergraduate degree from PCU in 2003, majoring in Literature. In 2004, she pursued her Master of Art in Theatre at UNSW, Sydney. Upon completion, she returned to PCU and has been teaching Acting, Play production, Directing, Theatrical design, Drama, and Australian studies in the English Department and several other subjects in Tourism and Leisure Department. With her passion in theatre, she has got involved in 15 English theatre performances since 2002, either as acting/artistic director, actress, or production manager. Her passion also drives her to actively build networking with industries, institutions, and high schools through acting and theatre workshops and seminars in which she participates as speaker. She is currently the Artistic Director for Petra Little Theatre and the Coordinator of Professional Theatre package program in the English Department, PCU. Since 2009, she has been assigned to her new post as the Head of Bureau of Cooperation and Development for Petra Christian University. She is now working on her research about Mother and motherhood issue, as gender is another field that interests her besides literature and theatre.
